This course is designed to give individuals the knowledge and skills necessary to recognize and provide basic care for breathing and cardiac emergencies until advanced medical personnel arrive.
It is intended for persons who do not work in the healthcare field, but are occupationally required or desire to have CPR knowledge and skills. Typical students include emergency response teams in businesses, school bus drivers, trainers in health clubs, adult residential caregivers, teachers, parents and babysitters.
The length of this class is 2 to 3 hours depending on number of students. Two-year ASHI certification card provided upon successful completion.
