The HeartSaver CPR AED is a video-based, instructor-led course that teaches CPR and AED use, as well as how to relieve choking. The course may either include treating only adults or treating adults, children and infants, based on student preference.
This course is for anyone with limited or no medical training who needs an American Heart Association course completion card in CPR and AED use to meet job, regulatory or other requirements.
Class duration is approximately 2 to 3 hours.
Upon successful completion of the class, a two-year AHA certification card is provided.
THIS CERTIFICATION IS FOR LAY RESPONDERS, NOT HEALTHCARE PROVIDERS. STUDENTS REQUIRING CPR CERTIFICATION FOR EMPLOYMENT IN THE HEALTHCARE INDUSTRY SHOULD ENROLL IN A BASIC LIFE SUPPORT (BLS) CLASS.

Southwest CPR reserves the right to cancel any scheduled training class with 48 hours notification. Students enrolled in a class canceled by Southwest CPR may, at their option, either enroll into another class or receive a full refund.
No refunds for any other reasons. Students may reschedule with 24 hours notice.
