HeartSaver First Aid is a video-based, instructor-led course that teaches students critical skills needed to respond to and manage a first aid emergency in the first few minutes until emergency medical services (EMS) arrives. Students learn skills such as how to treat strokes, heart attacks, bleeding, broken bones, shock and other first aid emergencies.
This course is for anyone with limited or no medical training who needs an American Heart Association course completion card in first aid to meet job, regulatory or other requirements.
Class duration is approximately 2 hours. This course is usually delivered as the second half of a combination CPR / First Aid class. Call for more details.
Upon successful completion of the class, a two-year AHA certification card is provided.

Southwest CPR reserves the right to cancel any scheduled training class with 48 hours notification. Students enrolled in a class canceled by Southwest CPR may, at their option, either enroll into another class or receive a full refund.
No refunds for any other reasons. Students may reschedule with 24 hours notice.
